Annual General Meeting – 2026
Dear Members,
Notice is hereby given of the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Volunteer Marine Rescue – Kingborough Inc.
The details of the meeting are as follows:
Date: Friday, 20th November 2026
Time: 6:30PM – 08:30PM
Place: Derwent Sailing Squadron, 23 Marieville Esplanade, Sandy Bay TAS 7005
Members unable to attend in person will have the opportunity to participate remotely via Microsoft Teams. Please contact the Commander to arrange access.
At the meeting, members will have the opportunity to:
- Find out about and ask questions regarding the operations and finances of our organisation.
- Discuss matters included on the agenda.
- Vote on any resolutions proposed, where eligible to do so.
Members will be asked to vote to:
- Accept the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting.
- Accept the Annual Report.
- Accept the Auditor’s Report.
- Accept the Annual Financial Statements.
- Appoint the Auditor.
- Elect the Committee for the coming year.
Committee Elections
The following Committee positions will be open for election:
- Commander
- Deputy Commander
- Treasurer
- Secretary
- Three (3) Committee Members
Expressions of interest and nominations are invited for all positions, with existing Committee members encouraged to consider re-nominating.
Nominations close at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, 18 November 2026.
