Since our last update we have been extremely busy behind the scenes organising transport and ensuring our new vessel is compliant to operate in our local Tassie waters.
Our new vessel was lifted on March 3rd by Burpengary Crane Hire and put on the back of a truck from Gradco (Heavy Haulage Specialists) at Marine Rescue Bribie Island. From there it will make the long drive (approx 1,750km) down to Melbourne where it will be placed on a ship bound for Tasmania.
A big thank you to both Burpengary Crane Hire and Gradco for their assistance in ensuring that the new vessel arrive to us safely.
To stay up to date on the progress of our new vessel, like our Facebook page or keep an eye on our website for further details and updates as well as information on the official launch.
